Growing up, I felt like an outsider among other girls who loved makeup and fashion, while I preferred video games, action movies, and sports. Society made me feel like I couldn't be both feminine and tough.

In my twenties, I decided to try makeup despite the fear of being judged as "less than" for wanting to learn it as a woman who did not understand the makeup world and had a masculine presence. I bought my first makeup kit and started learning about it, using it to express my unique blend of masculinity and femininity.
Through this journey, I gained the language to describe my sexuality and the confidence to be myself. I realized that I didn't need to fit into a specific label or box and that my interests and personality traits make me who I am today.
